For years I heard a lot about Beacon Hill, everyone who visited Boston talked about how nice this part of the city is. So one morning we took the subway to the Massachusetts State House….
Just opposite the building there’s a very nice park called the Boston Common that seemed to invite us for a walk…..
No, we didn’t give it a try, the vacation was far from finished, we didn’t want to keep travelling with a broken leg!
And finally, we started our visit through Beacon Hill, almost deserted and starting to lighten up for the night….
Even though we’re not used to all of those Christmas decorations (at home we usually put them down after Epiphany) it was so nice to walk through such a beautiful neighbourhood, peaceful, neat and elegant…
Our feet were hurting so much, nevertheless we decided to go back to our hotel walking, once again crossing the Public Garden, so charming at night….
