Eating in Abruzzo

Along with the places, the landscapes, the people, the history of Abruzzo, we enjoyed also nice restaurants and good food……

At Canestro: rice with saffron and sausages, goat “rosticini”, rice again with mushrooms and veggies and linguine with cheese cream

At Osteria de’ Arco: appetizers buffet, mixed grilled meat, veggies frittata, mushrooms and truffles polenta…..

Chez Paolo: salami and cheese buffet, truffles cream linguine and mixed desserts….

At Osteria del Tempo Perso pizza and grilled cheese with herbs and pistachio

At Vecchio Muro: good wine with mixed appetizers, meat and truffles ravioli, and sausages and peppers soup

    All plates I love ! Because of my Italian husband we eat a lot of Italian meals ! Now you made me hungry ! We have farfalle with vegetables and salmon tonight !

    That’s a post for Mr. G ! He is actually in Italy visiting his sister at the Garda lake and he told me that he ate too much ! Next week’s program …. diet ! lol !

    I would love to try each and every dish–and finish every morsel on each plate! The food in Italy is the best!
